ACS1500SE - compact 1.5A SEPIC (Buck/Boost) Laser Driver

This driver is designed for powering medium-power laser diodes and LEDs​. Soft start, undervoltage lockout for 1 cell Li-Ion battery, ceramic fast fuse for reverse polarity protection​. Auto buck/boost operation with a stable output current.

​* - In boost mode, the output current is calculated by the simplified formula: Iout = 2 / Vf * Vin. For example, the forward voltage (Vf) of load is 5V, the input voltage (Vin) is 3.3V - this means the driver is in boost mode so the max output current in this case is 2 / 5 *3.3 = 1.3A

Recommendations for soldering and heatsinking:

The customer must have soldering skills because the pads has small size and careless soldering can damage the driver​. Use only neutral soldering flux and low-temperature solder in order to avoid overheating of the PCB. Observe the rules of antistatic protection, the driver is ESD sensitive.
